Disney World! ~ March 2013

Papa & CC took us on a fantastic trip to Walt Disney World, along with David, Isa, Matthew and Christopher, at the beginning of March.  It was definitely an adventure with 4 kids under 4 in tow, but that just made it all that much more magical!

We spent several days enjoying the Magic Kingdom, including riding some of the classic rides (Dumbo, Small World, Peter Pan, etc.) as well as visiting the new FantasyLand and even having dinner in the Beauty & the Beast castle.  The kids loved Animal Kingdom's safari and jungle treks, and the "big kids" got to ride Expedition Everest a few times while CC & Papa took care of the littles.

Epcot's gardens & displays were as beautiful as ever, and we loved the aquarium (part of the Nemo ride), Figment, the Land of Oz playground, and a delicious meal at Chefs de France.  The kids loved the Disney Junior live show at Hollywood Studios where they got to see The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse characters, Doc McStuffins, and Jake & The Neverland Pirates.  Downtown Disney's amazing Lego creations and store were a big hit, and Nicholas was thrilled to ride the little train there again with CC like he did 2 years ago!

We had lots of great meals on top of the fun we had at the parks, and CC & Papa even kept the kids one night while we had a spectacular dinner at Victoria & Albert's at our hotel.  We had a fun dinner at Chef Mickey's -- Nicholas and Ava were thrilled to see the Mickey & his friends from across the room, but were TERRIFIED when they came anywhere near our table!  They warmed up a bit after seeing CC give Pluto and Minnie big hugs, though!  And baby Christopher was enchanted by them all.

We all had a blast, and every time we ask Nicholas what his favorite part of Disney was, he tells us something different -- driving a race car, seeing Mickey, riding the Monorail, riding the Magic Kingdom Steam Train, the Dino playground, and even getting to watch Mickey on TV in our hotel room - ha!     Oh, and of course, CC made the kids' precious matching outfits!
