We had a relaxed and blessed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Charlotte. Ben prepared his modern take on the Italian "Feast of Seven Fishes" for our Christmas Eve dinner. The kids loved helping us shop for the seafood and sampling bits of lobster & squid -- though they mostly ate fish-sticks for their fish dinner! We enjoyed attending our church's Christmas Eve children's candlelight service, and Nicholas & Ava were so excited to leave cookies & milk for out for Santa. They were beyond thrilled on Christmas morning to see what all Santa brought to them, and had a fantastic time opening so many presents from loved ones, playing with all their new treasures, reading new books, and staying in their Christmas PJ's all day long! It was a magical and beautiful Christmas for our family!
