Washington, D.C. ~ July 2014

We broke up our long road trip to New Jersey with a quick stop in Washington, D.C. We arrived late one afternoon, spent the night and left the next day by mid-morning. In that short amount of time, we packed in a lot of sightseeing -- the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History was a definite highlight for our animal-, ocean- and dinosaur-loving children, and we made quick stops at the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Capitol, and White House for pictures and brief history lessons for the kids!
